History of production of agricultural tools in Hrádek

let us, on behalf of the management of interStroj, a.s., briefly acquaint you with the history of the production of parts for agriculture, which has a long tradition in our region. 

On the Padrť stream, which springs in Brdy, water iron mills have been working since the beginning of the 16th century. One of them is still preserved in the village of Dobřív near Hrádek Ironworks. We highly recommend a visit to this still functional technical monument, which is well taken care of by the B. Horák Museum in Rokycany.   

After nationalization, but especially in the 60s and 70s of the last century, the company under the new name Železárny Bílá Cerkev in Hrádek u Rokycan modernized - for example, the construction of three electric arc furnaces, a press for the production of pipes and special profiles. annealing furnace, etc.
